You won't need to change anything on your side, you will still be able to login with the same accounts that you own and use the same game version. To participate, simply wait until the Diablo II realms return to service on February 21, log in to the server, and select the “Ladder Character” checkbox when creating a new character. This ladder reset, like all those before it, creates a clean slate where all ladder characters begin at level 1 with no previous items to help them. Please keep in mind that due to our long-term ladders, vast majority of our players are playing ladder characters only. All characters and items being converted to non-ladder will remain intact so they will not be lost, but once converted these characters will no longer have access to ladder content such as ladder-only rune words.
